About JF Builds LLC
JF Builds LLC is a Massachusetts general contractor owned by Hernán Figueroa. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels, and we also install flooring and do finish carpentry.
Who we are
Hernán holds an unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License. He has 12 years of experience and more than 200 jobs done, and JF Builds LLC has been in business for 6 years.
He runs JF Builds with one full-time employee and brings in plumbers, electricians, painters and architects as each project needs them. We work directly with homeowners, and also for other contractors.
We help clients pick everything out, from tile to countertops, working with designers and a custom cabinet maker. All our work comes with a one-year warranty.

- Build and inspectionsWe do the work and bring in the trades. Progress payment after the rough inspections.
- Final walkthroughWe go through the finished room with you. Final payment after the final inspection.
How payments work in Massachusetts
You pay a deposit before work starts, a progress payment once the work passes the rough inspections, and the final payment once the final inspection passes.

The Guaranty Fund
