Bathroom questions
How much do I pay up front?
A deposit before work starts. By Massachusetts law it can't be more than one-third of the contract price, unless special-order materials cost more than that. Then a progress payment once the work passes the rough inspections, and the final payment once the final inspection passes.
Can you turn a tub into a walk-in shower?
Tell us what you have in mind when we visit and we'll tell you what it takes in your bathroom. The plumbing is done by the plumbers we hire for the job.
Who pulls the building permits?
We do. In Massachusetts the registered contractor pulls the building permit. If a homeowner pulls it instead, they may lose access to the state's Guaranty Fund, which can help homeowners with unpaid judgments against a contractor.
Do you give a warranty?
Yes. All our work comes with a one-year warranty.
